It would be easy to pick up the thread of the subject she was struggling to speak towards. The teacher, the Master in Obi-Wan wanted to wait her out and let her come to the subject in her own time; it was the best way for someone to learn. But this was not the Jedi Temple, she was not his Padawan, and he could not imagine how confusing everything had to feel in her mind.

"Your family," he said the words thoughtfully. "Do you see Palpatine as your family?"

There was no judgement or expectation in his question, only genuine curiosity. Family was a concept that, as a Jedi, Obi-Wan had found himself redefining again and again as he grew within the temple. It could be as linear as blood and genetics, but there was also a psychological definition, that came from what one found from those closest to one.
