To show that appreciation he tries to give Obi-Wan a brief taste of what it feels like to move through time the way he used to. It’s the dichotomy of knowing it so intimately as if you could grasp it while just letting the flows of it ebb around you like sand. Sometimes, he thinks, it’s like falling through an infinite web of golden threads and clockwork.
In many ways, it might feel a lot like the Force.
