Mikumo isn't against minimal communication, honestly - she comes from a combat background herself, so she understands that it's neccesary at times. Particularly on stealth missions, which she's very familiar with, though in this one the stealth element has pretty much gone out the window already.

She kicks off at the same time he does, and while her hearing has been dampened down to a human level since she arrived here, it's still at peak human level, so that hum is unmistakeable. She turns her head again to pinpoint the direction the sound is strongest - it sounds like they're either outrunning or keeping pace with the drones currently, but they're very likely to catch up once they stop next.

"The ones behind should be trailing until we slow down," she says, turning her attention towards what's ahead - if any come from the route in front, they don't have the issue of catching up to them.
