Similar experience, yes. In my case it's usually variable fighters.

[Unless it's somewhere enclosed, in which case it might be the pilots of the variable fighters instead, but a lot of the operations her group does have to take place in the open, so attack from above is very typical.

I think that would suit you. It's certainly not the worst transport I've had for a mission, but I don't know if I'm the type for that sort of hobby.
