Sounds something like the Protoculture. They had space travel millennia ago, but then they were destroyed by their creations and humans took quite a long time to discover it again.

[And they had to reverse-engineer a crashed ship from another Protoculture descendant species to get the useful kind. That aside for the moment, though, Mikumo pulls up before they reach the next spot, her brows arching slightly in mild amusement.]

Looks like it might have become overgrown rather suddenly. I'm not sure I have enough water with me to make a wall long enough to push that back with.

[She only has two canteens on her for this mission, since they need to be mobile and that doesn't lend itself to being able to bring along a larger amount. Unfortunately, that does somewhat limit the versatility of her powers unless they find a natural water source.]
