The way she uses water is interesting - and reminds him a lot of Rokuro's abilities. But Link can't exactly indulge his curiosity at the moment - not when he needs to focus on the other drones.

They've managed to regroup, even if one of them is a bit wobbly; trying to pin him down from different directions. Into his off-hand Link's shifted the manhole cover that's operating his shield, and a glowing, transparent red sphere flickers into existence around him.

As Link slices the already-damaged drone in half, the other-one takes the opportunity to fire at his back. But it's not Link that blocks it - it's the red sphere, and the glowing, ghostly figure of a hulking Goron that emerges to absorb the damage.
