He sounds a little uncertain about the compliment, but then she realizes it's mostly because he doesn't know what it means to pull punches.

"Oh, you know, punch someone but don't hit them hard, like this." she says, then demonstrates, rounding up for a really hard punch to his face, but only lightly bopping it at the last moment, on the jaw.

"Lets ya practice without actually hurtin' anyone. Ya know?"
