Link's eyes go wide, and the word narrows down to the explosive missile hurtling towards him. There's no time to plan, no time to think. All Link has to go on is instinct and the hope that what works with Guardians works with this.

He holds the trash can lid up high. A faint transparent red sphere appears around him. Rokuro is too far; Daruk can only protect Link. He has to time this just right...

Just as the rocket is about to hit Link, he parries. There's a flash, and the rocket is propelled back towards the Slyphid soldiers. At the same time the ghostly visage of a large Gerudo appears before Link, blocking the force and heat that would have otherwise still struck him, parry or no.

The Slyphid soldiers in turn only have seconds to realise just how horribly the tables have just been turned on them, before the missile hits and explodes.

There's not much left of them after that.
