If Obi-Wan had caught a glimpse of Tech here or there around camp, his mind had played tricks on him and refused to believe it was Tech he was seeing. Though he had come across the aged clone veteran of the 501st in Daiyu, had been struck by how used and discarded the man looked -had dropped change for him- his emotions were still in conflict. Another item on his meditation to do list, though he had pushed it down a ways thinking it wasn't a priority.

Oops.

He hears the name, and Tech's voice is distinctive to the other clones, but across the comm it is too easy for Obi-Wan's brain to excuse it all away. Especially when his focus is mostly on watching the guard house and plotting his next move. So he puts it out of his head, up to the moment he hears movement coming up on his position.

"I think there are..." he began to explain that there were four guards in the guard house, ripe for the picking, as he turned towards Tech. Grey-green eyes went wide, narrowed sharply before everything came rushing to the surface. As it had on Daiyu Obi-Wan lost himself into a cacophony of emotions and memories. Jedi training held him still -as it had back on that planet- but he could feel himself going white as a sheet, body spooling up to chose between fight or flight.

His lightsaber wasn't an option, which was a good thing for both them and the mission, but if Tech made a wrong move, the Jedi was going to be on him. What would constitute a wrong move? Even Obi-Wan wasn't quite sure.
