Link takes a quick moment to peer, curious, at the blue water bubble. Perhaps it was like Daruk's protection? Link wasn't completely sure, so he should probably assume he could still get hurt in here, and fight accordingly.

Fortunately however, while Link's current arsenal can be charitably described as not the best, it quickly becomes apparently that Link has the skills to make up for it. He wields the broom like a spear, making quick jabbing motions towards the advancing men.

One goes down hard and fast, but another manages to get a few shots off in Link's direction. He darts out of the way, but it doesn't matter - thanks to Rokuro's shield, they bounce off entirely.
