Unfortunately for Kylo, he isn't going to spring back immediately after the move he just pulled. Between the double-thick barrier and double-kill with his chalcedony eye, Rokuro is hollowed out.

Which means he is alive, but won't be conscious quick enough to be of use for the next wave of Sylphid. Not immediately. He stirs slightly when nudged, but other than a fresh trickle of blood dripping down from his nose over his lips, Kylo receives no other physical response.
