This is pretty normal. Maybe less of the sitting in a tree, but definitely the watching through binoculars (really fancy space-age binoculars), counting guards, considering points of egress.
It's a little less normal doing it with a whole team at his back, though. He slides down from his perch to meet the person replacing him. "Didn't happen to bring any sandwiches, didja?" he asks with a quirk of a smile, dusting bark off his pants before offering the binoculars over.
Phase II - Front entrance
Steven has been very gung-ho about this magic thing. Marc is less so, but he can see some useful applications when Steven casts something called "disguise self" on the body and the glance in the little folding mirror he keeps in his pocket these days shows a completely different face. The one from the guard he took out in town, in fact.
He turns to his partner. The two of them are planning on walking in the front, like they actually belong, and the illusion and the guard uniforms will help. "I can do one for you, too, if you like," Steven says, doing his very best to sound American, to sound like Marc. It... does not pass very well, but he tries.
Phase II - Inside
Time for some exploring. Marc has walked more labyrinthine buildings in the past than this one, though admittedly most of them were a lot older than this one, and made of stone or wood more than cement. He prowls through the halls, now minus his magical disguise and wearing a loose janitor's uniform on top of the guard uniform, pushing a cart with a mop and a bucket, which he uses whenever someone gets too close.
Good way to map out where he's been, after all: it's where the cleanest floors are.
Phase III - Diversion
Because Marc is not really super tech-savvy-- that was more Layla's job-- he has stationed himself outside the computer room with his bucket and mop. "Nope, hey, sorry, can't go in there," he says in his thickest imitation of the local low-class accent, chomping on some gum. He is a lot better at accents than Steven. "Some idjit spilled their punch all over the floor inside. We're cleanin'."
It might not keep everyone out, but it makes him loud enough to warn whoever is in there to hide or get ready to fight.
Additional Mission
This is definitely more up Marc's alley than dealing with computers. Getting some hostages out is very much a thing he can do. "Right, you three, behind us," he says, pulling his gun from behind the bucket, and the other from the holster in the small of his back. He's already put the janitor uniform aside, revealing the guard uniform again. "We're escorting you to transport outside to another facility, if anybody asks."
He offers the second gun to his current partner. "And if they don't believe that, that's what the guns are for."
