While perhaps not so eager to be back in the jungle, at least they're now better clothed and equipped for it. The weight of his Katarn-class armor is an obvious absence, making Tech feel a little more vulnerable, but given their current objective is mainly surveillance, it's not something he fusses over. It also helps knowing he's got a pair of guns and spare ammo should anything go awry.

He seems completely at ease perched against the thicker branches of a tree some distance from the highway, providing just enough of a view for the details they'd be seeking. A pair of binoculars in hand, he scans what he can see of the road, even as they listen for sounds of any approaching transports.
