Oh if Rokuro only knew how wrong he was. Kylo has already decided that he's had enough of this lack of that gift/curse and he'll get the chip out as soon as there's a reasonable chance to do so. Until then, he's functioning with less awareness of his surroundings than usual, rendering him capable but certainly not entirely perfect.

He also certainly did not need that enemy knocked down, thanks, but he doesn't mind pressing the advantage now that it's happened.

As for the guns, he's not entirely familiar with that style of weapon, either, but he can make a reasonable guess that they're about to be dealing with projectiles of some sort, which makes working with his lack of powers that much more difficult.
