It's strange being obviously seen as the lead on this mission. Usually Tech would be looking to Hunter for confirmation of an action or general orders, much like Rokuro has been looking to him. Tech hadn't been expecting to call shots but work as equals, although he can understand the deference when it comes to the vast differences of technological experience between the two of them.

So he gives Rokuro's decision serious consideration, and he trusts the man to know where the others are. It's going to be a risk, but they've gone through some trouble to go this far. What throws him off is Rokuro's words that follow. He's not quite sure what to say to that. Nothing the man's done has caused any of these complications, but they'd waste time to debate on that. He shakes his head. "I do not doubt that. We will talk more later. Let's do what we can here," he says, reaching out to move the guard.
