The bone arena of Obi-Wan's skull was suddenly a very busy place. Between memories, processing Alder's voice, processing the reality of Tech in front of him, feeling the emotional response to the unique clone calling him General, it all came close to causing a short circuit.
Jedi training, honed in the Clone War, and most recently recovered in his dash across the galaxy to recover Leia, kept the older man from having a nervous breakdown right then and there. Alder's voice, and Tech's cautious movements, helped anchor him to the here and the now, but he couldn't for the life of him think of what to say to the man.
'Mission, mission, mission, mission, mission.'
Swallowing tightly, Obi-Wan gave his head a rocky shake as he stuttered. "Be..B ... Ben." Not General. He reached up and pushed the heel of his palm into his left eye, rubbing furiously before lowering his arm and -yep, Tech was still there- struggling to get his act together. He's start with responding to Alder.
"We're here. We're fine," the last two words were spoken as much to Tech as to Alder. Another deep breath, in and back out, before he rubbed his palm over his face, worrying a bit at his beard but getting more and more stable in his responses. "We're going to make a move to breach through the back entrance."
