The more the man speaks, the more undeniably familiar it is. Tech can count the times he's interacted with the Jedi on one hand, but Obi-Wan has always held a particular presence and his own voice is distinctive, and while his thinking processes may be below his usual high capacity, the clone commando's memory is still sharp. There's that disconnect of being in an altogether different place, but once the man does turn, Tech's own eyes widen behind his goggles.
It's not the Obi-Wan Kenobi he remembers, and the expression that crosses the man's face then is both foreign and telling.
"General..?" Tech still voices, disbelief clear in his tone. He remains still himself, instantly on his own guard as he reads the situation as a potentially if unexpectedly threatening one. It's not difficult to guess why. Slowly, the clone raises his hands, though one holds a computer tablet- not his usual but otherwise it's not anything unusual for this particular soldier.
"I'm not here to harm you," he says, brow furrowing. He hears Alder in his ear but feels this is a more immediate matter to clear.
