At the very least, Mikumo isn't particularly talkative on her own merits, and the silence gives her a chance to focus on the route. It gets rougher the deeper they get into the jungle, the close-together trees being replaced by jutting rocks, severely uneven ground, or other obstacles, but the ride continues relatively uneventfully besides the bumps. It's obvious enough Mikumo knows how to handle the terrain, but skill can only smooth the way to a certain degree.

As the ATVs visible here and there in the trees around them begin to steady their speed, indicating they're getting nearer the camp again, she breaks the silence.

"Since I did the driving, you may as well help unload when we get back. It's mostly food and water supplies in this one."
