"Indeed," Tech says, arching a brow at Rokuro. He does suspect it's something to do with cultural beliefs, and given the obvious foreignness of technology, the assumption that such heavenly, distant bodies are some kind of higher being isn't surprising.

Normally he'd be running scans constantly as they make their way, but his current equipment isn't much good at this distance. He intends to make many upgrades once things quiet down. It's strange relying on more basic methods, but then even fine-tuned equipment doesn't substitute for keeping yourself on guard. He picks his way through the overgrowth with care, pointing out any protruding tree limbs although he suspects Rokuro hardly needs the warnings, though Tech does opt to walk on the man's right.

"Yes...and no. Technological levels and advancement seems to more or less be what I'd be accustomed to in my galaxy. The blatant acceptance of magic as a common existence is a new one to me. Normally such things would be considered mythical or trickery, or reference to some old way of life where supernatural happenings that cannot be explained by science get more or less lumped together. Otherwise, different species coexisting in one space is practically normal for many worlds." He pauses a moment, listening as he thinks he hears a sound, then starts forward again.

"It's...probably been a lot for you to take in," he assumes, glancing over at Rokuro.
