Who: Link and you!
What: Link hunts in the jungle, raids the clotheslines of unsuspecting residents, and finally discovers where the horses are
When: In the days and week after the Relief log
Where: Witches Camp & the surrounding jungle
Content Warnings: None
I - Let's go hunting in the jungle
Ever since arriving in Witches Camp, the vast majority of Link's time had been spent in the jungle. At any hour of the day or night he could be found trekking across it, gathering up the many herbs, flowers, or mushrooms that could be found there. And there were a lot of mushrooms.
Link wasn't after the mushrooms today, however. He'd finally managed to find a merchant who would sell him a proper bow, and not just one of the many variety's of gun that everyone here seemed to use instead.
Which meant now Link was out in the jungle, hunting game. He's managed to track down a herd of antelope-like creatures, and is crouched down a small distance away, bow aimed and ready to fire.
Now would be a really bad time for anyone to come in and startle the creatures.
II - Shameless clothesline theft
Anyone who has met Link might have noticed a bit of a trend. Namely, that his wardrobe looks like he's picked a bunch of various different items at random. None of it matches, and none of it fits.
There's a reason for that.
One which will soon become readily apparent to anyone with eyes, as Link brazenly approaches one of the clotheslines in the residential area. Here, some poor unsuspecting soul has left out their clothes to dry. Link takes a moment to look over the options. Most of these look either too small or too big to really bit well. But there's one blouse he kinda likes the look of...
...He reaches up, and yanks it off the line. Free clothes!
III - Zelda's kingdom for a horse
Link hadn't been able to find any wild horses in the jungles. But that didn't matter anymore, because he'd found a stable.
Turns out there are a few of them at the edges of Witches Camp, and Link had promptly scrounged up as much currency as he could in order to buy one of their horses. He'd had to sell a good number of his mushrooms to do it, but it was worth it.
Now he had a chestnut brown mare, with a white mane and a cheeky disposition. She was still getting used to Link - which meant that as he rode her through the streets of Witches Camp, she didn't exactly behave.
Sometimes she stops still, huffing and pawing at the ground with one hoof. Sometimes she would start nibbling on nearby people's hair. And sometimes she just might nearly run someone over.
