The temperature is still so intense that Tech wonders that the water might evaporate before he reaches Vader. He squints against the heat, pushing on until he's finally by the Sith lord's side.

His assessment is quick, and the clone doesn't look longer than necessary as he drapes the wet tarp around Vader. It's a poor substitute for the usual cloak he might wear but that isn't the point of this.

"Sir," he says, the emphasis more to get the man's attention than anything else. "We need to move."

He hears the shout and moves completely by reflex, a quick draw of his pistol, leveled and fired in the next second to blast the soldier who thought he could take advantage of this moment's weakness. He keeps his gun out a moment more, looking to see if anyone else might be mad enough to try.
