"The Bless spell will last for about an hour," Steven explains, "and will be like-- extra good luck. You'll be more likely to find the right places to be to do what you need to do and less likely to get shot. The Mage Armor will cushion blows. It'll only stop a bullet once before it goes down, but it'll take a good dozen or so hit from a knife or a fist."

Steven wrinkles up his face in distaste. "I'm going to figure out how to make something strong enough for bullets, but I'm not there yet."
