"Which means we're probably past the lethal parts of the security system," Layla says, with a touch of relief. "The Sylphid aren't any more physically resilient than the people they possess, so even if they're willing to risk any incompatible staff, they won't put anything hazardous where they might have to deal with it on a regular basis. We'll just need to be careful not to trip any alarms or alert the guards."

She gives the layout a closer look. "That's the security station there, yeah? It'd mean overshooting, but if we hit that first, we can make their lives a little harder when it comes time for us to make a break for it."
