At least Jack seemed to be recovering all right. Donatello stayed where he was just to offer him some support. He grinned a little. "Yeah, it was pretty fun..."

The question that Jack followed up with caught him off guard. He blinked, his grin fading at that. He let his own gaze fall away, looking out at the alien landscape.

"Yeah. Goes without saying. Been missing it a lot, actually," he admitted. "I've never been this far away from it...or apart from my family. It's...it's been weird."
