"Well, kind of," Donatello said as he watched Jack wobble a bit. "Relax. Difficult, I know, when you're on something narrow and unstable, but it's actually a lot easier to adjust your balance when you're at ease than when you're stiff," he suggested. "Basically you're already doing that when you're walking and standing, you've just gotten so used to it that you don't even think about it. If you do feel like you're going off balance it's important not to just hurl yourself in the other direction to try offsetting it because then you'll just have the same problem in reverse."
He gestured around the training area. "Best way to get used to the idea is to put it into practice. Let's do a few laps staying level so you can work on your balance first and then we'll take it higher."
